May Residence

El Cid

As both client and interior designer, the homeowner approached this nearly century-old Monterey-style residence as an opportunity to restore a historic structure while creating a home rich with personal meaning. The interiors reflect a layered, nostalgic sensibility—rooms filled with collected pieces, color, and character, creating spaces that feel storied and alive. Outside, the collaboration with the landscape architect brought the same level of thought and transformation to the compact lot.
